Skating Programs
Learn-To-Skate
The Monroe Multi-Sports Complex Learn-To-Skate Program is a United States Figure
Skating Association (USFSA) sanctioned program for anyone eager to learn the basic skills
of skating. Successful completion of skills is required before moving to the next level of
the program. Professional instructors will conduct classes in a positive
atmosphere, providing quality instruction and motivation for recreational,
hockey and figure skaters of all ages.
Figure Skating
Take your figure skating to the next level at our various freestyle sessions, all
designed to heighten your skills. Figure skating has never been more popular, so join now!

Learn-To-Play-Hockey
Learn fundamental skills like passing, shooting, skating and stickhandling from qualified
instructors. Classes are available for both youth and adult. Full hockey equipment is
required!

Youth Hockey Leagues
The Monroe Multi-Sports Complex offers youth house and travel leagues through the
Monroe Hockey Association. Call (734) 242-1300 for more details.
Adult Hockey Leagues
Divisions include 18 & Over A (advanced), 18 & Over
B Tier 1 (high level), 18 & Over B Tier 2 (low level), Novice (beginner), and

Hockey Tournaments and Events
The Monroe Multi Sports Complex will host a variety of action packed
tournaments and events throughout the year. From our annual circus to the
USA Hockey series, we host events for all ages and interests.
One of our most anticipated events this year will be hosting a series of USA
hockey games. The USA team is part of the USA Hockey; Inc. National Team
Development Program (NTDP) based in Ann Arbor, MI. Monroe will play host
to Germany and Switzerland as well as several conference games throughout the
fall and winter season. The NTDP players represent some of the best hockey
talent in the country and world. Most players from the NTDP team go on to
play for college, national, and professional teams. USA Hockey coordinates
activities with other national hockey federations around the world including the
United States Olympic Committee (USOC), National Hockey League (NHL),
International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), and National Collegiate Athletic
Association (NCAA).

 Drop-In Hockey Held every Friday and Saturday night from 10:00 PM - 11:20 PM. Admission is just $7 Goalies Skate FREE. Participants must be 18 & older.
